Chris DiNiso - Manhattan Captain

An avid runner for well over a decade, Chris Di Niso has taken on everything from trail runs to marathons. While Chris enjoys the competitive nature of a race, they also love the calmness that comes from an everyday neighborhood run.

• Favorite Distance: Half Marathon

• Most Memorable Race: Ran the 2021 NYC Marathon directly after finishing a 13 hour shift

• Go-to Gear: Asics Novablast, Feetures, Garmin Forerunner, Buff/Headband, Goodr Sunglasses

• Bucket List Race: Joining the NYC Marathon 15+ Club (currently at 6)

Spencer McGregor - Brooklyn Captain

Spencer McGregor started his running journey when his wife wanted to run the NYC marathon via the 9+1 NYRR program. He said “if you can do it, I can do it too” and raised money for a charity to secure a spot in the 2022 NYC Marathon. They both completed the marathon, 5 months after having their daughter. Spencer loves race day energy and enjoys competing against himself, always striving for a PR.

• Favorite Distance: Half Marathon (love trying to beat my previous times!)

• Most Memorable Race: Marine Corps Marathon 2023 (ran hurt and still finished)

• Go-to Gear: Brooks Glycerin GTS shoes, nipEAZE nipple stickers, and Oakley sunglasses

• Bucket List Race: Completing all Abbott World Marathon Majors (1/7 complete)

Mike Manna - Staten Island Captain

Mike Manna has been a dedicated runner for over 10 years, competing in races ranging from 5Ks to 100Ks and everything in between. While his running journey began on pavement, his true passion lies in trail running.
